Master Marco Polli Born in Milan in 1964, the city where he will perform his studies of piano , organ, composition and orchestra conducting. For about thirty years he has been conducting concerts and teaching activities, to which he has also joined a commercial competence in the promotion of musical instruments. His career as a pianist boasts about four hundred concerts in Italy and abroad. - In the eighties, he was called by the Yamaha musical instruments to perform in concerts throughout Italy with Clavinova pianos, instruments, which marked a period in the world. - From 1994 to 2004 he was Manager of the "Rodgers digital organs" by Roland Japan (world leader in digital musical instruments). Here, he develops and realizes with the Rodgers engineers, the first dual-function organs, both rods and digital ones, which turned out to be a true revolution in the organ world. - The collaboration with the company Roland has contributed to the installation of over two hundred organs in churches and always for the same company he has performed in more than three hundred concerts, of which the most significant remain those at Christall Cathedral in Los Angeles, at the Rose Garden of Portland and the Portland Civic Auditorium. - For Christmas of the year 2000, Polli supplies the Vatican with a digital organ that will accompany the Christmas celebration in the churchyard of San Pietro. - In 2000, by playing a concert at the Sanctuary of Santa Valeria in Seregno, Milan, he realizes and inaugurates the one that is still considered the largest digital pipe organ in Italy. - In 2002, once again working with the Vatican, the Master provides an organ for the first oceanic gathering of John Paul II with the young people in Tor Vergata, a gathering of over one million young people. - Starting from 2004, he became the sole importer for Italy of the American company AllenOrgans with whom he produced the first CD in which two organists play, at the same time with an ancient pipe organ and a digital organ, songs specially arranged by Master Marco Polli. - For AllenOrgans he performed in concerts in the Cathedral of Saint Patrick, in the New Methodist Church in Brooklyn, New York and in Philadelpia. Using the Wanamaker pipe organ, the largest in the world he performs in the Octave Hall in Allentown (Pennsylvania). - In 2010 he became importer of the Dutch company Johannus Orgelbow with whom, in 2012, he made the first connection between a digital organ and an antique pipe organ by Bernasconi di Robecco, considered the most beautiful nineteenth-century organ in Lombardy. - In 2014, he performed the first open organ concert in Milan, a concert organized by the Assessorships for Culture and Roads for the inauguration of the pedestrian area of Via Marcona, which overlooks the Piazza del Duomo. - In 2016 he participates as a pianist at the Milano Piano City concert festival, where he appears to be the artist with the highest number of concerts (three, in three days) and with the highest number of spectators. - Again in 2016, he created the Organ Movie Soundtracks Show, an innovative and unique performance, where he played over fifty soundtracks that accompany the related images of films projected onto a big screen. - In October 2016 he performed with this show in the prestigious Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. - Since 2017 he has also held the position of Commercial Director for the Tamburini Organi (whose famous organs are located at the Duomo of Milan, the Teatro alla Scala, two organs at the Basilica of San Pietro, the S. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome and many others); he is as well a commercial consultant for the CG Capelletti Mobili d'Arte and restoration and reproduction of vintage pianos. - In November 2017 Master Marco Polli started a project of artistic diffusion, acquiring the radio and TV channel, the Web Music Planet of the LikeRadio Group, having worldwide broadcasting in the network. - Upcoming commitments of 2018: - May: piano concert for Milano Piano City, - October: inauguration concert Shangai Music China; concert for piano and orchestra at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest - November: replica of the concert for piano and orchestra at the Carnegie Hall in New York. - A CD on the piano "Double Borgato" of the homonymous Luigi Borgato. There would be many other things to mention, but not to dwell on, we say what Master Marco Polli uses to express: "The résumés do not play, they are a useless exercise of self-celebration, so I prefer to play and give a demonstration of being a musician ......"
